Email Marketing Specialist Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week) Contract-to-hire opportunity Job Description The Email Marketing Specialist is a vital role for our client. This role leads all HTML coding, testing, and scheduling of weekly email marketing messages. The specialist designs and builds email messages and coordinates content with internal teams. Responsibilities include implementing A/B testing strategies such as segmentation, subject lines, and send times. Additionally, this role involves building eCommerce promotions in Shopify and assisting with loyalty, direct mail, and SMS operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a nimble environment and can meet fluctuating deadlines in a busy direct-to-consumer business. Manage HTML coding, email template management, email and SMS build and launch. Handle email file production, including slicing images, uploading to server, and collaborating with the digital asset manager to maintain creative files. Build, manage, organize, QA, and troubleshoot all eCommerce promotions. Implement email and SMS A/B testing, including creative, segmentation, subject lines, and send times. Assist with loyalty program management. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience with HTML coding for email, including mobile devices. 3-5 years of experience in email design using Figma and Photoshop. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating follow-through and initiative. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Knowledge of Web Analytics, particularly Google Analytics. Prior experience with email marketing in fashion/retail sectors. Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Listrak. Solid experience with design programs like Figma and Photoshop. Commitment to fostering kindness in business practices. Local candidates only.
