About the Role

As a teacher in our early childhood education program —whether working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children—you will help provide a foundation for lifelong learning.

As a Infant Teacher at Merryhill School, you're responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for children. You will provide a warm, caring, joyful environment that encourages preschoolers’ natural curiosity and instills confidence in their innate abilities.

You will also…

  • Create a classroom culture that nurtures each child’s individuality while promoting curiosity, independence, and confidence

  • Provide a structured yet playful environment through hands-on learning and purposeful play

  • Collaborate with fellow early childhood educators and school leadership to ensure alignment with program goals and best practices

  • Maintain regular, positive communication with parents and guardians through daily reports, classroom updates, and conferences

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, licensing regulations, and developmental standards

What We Are Looking For

  • Educational background with 12 semesters or 18 quarter early childhood education units shall include courses that cover the general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum, or a bachelor’s degree in child development

  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
