About the Role

Do you enjoy working outdoors and making a visible impact in your community? Cottonwood Heights is looking for a driven and dependable Public Works Operations Specialist to join our dedicated team! In this hands-on role, you'll support essential city operations including:

• Road and street maintenance
• Storm drain inspection and cleaning
• Signage and streetlight installation
• Fleet maintenance and traffic control
• Weed abatement, graffiti removal, snow removal & more

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED
• We Will Train the Right Candidate!

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) holders highly preferred
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in construction and maintenance
• Understanding of safety practices, street and drainage systems, and basic record keeping
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
