Job Description

Job Summary This position will work with students who have identified speech and language disorders as well as other disabilities. This position will perform a variety of tasks such as, but not limited to activities designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication. TCDE pays up to $18,768 per year towards Health & Welfare benefits. NOTE to TCDE employees: Employees that apply for a promotional opportunity will typically be placed on step one of the new higher classification. If step one is lower than their current salary, they will be placed at a step that provides for at least a 5% increase. If they have previous experience in a same higher classification they will be placed commensurate with that verified experience (lower classification experience does not apply to higher classifications).
