Sr. Director of Product Commercialization - DPS DPS is the Issuer Processing division of Issuer Solutions. Our clients include Fintechs, Financial Institutions, Ecosystem partners, and credit unions. We are building new, modern solutions while augmenting the existing solutions that have been in the market for 30 years. We are currently seekinga Senior Director, Product Commercializationto drive scalable product commercialization. We are looking for a leader who is eager to grow and transform a business, can roll up their sleeves, and act as a player/coach. The Senior Director of Product Commercialization will lead the strategy and execution of bringing new products to market while supporting the existing products and solutions. This role involves strong cross-functional collaboration with product development, marketing, sales, operations, and finance to ensure successful product launches and sustained market growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in product management and commercialization, capable of driving initiatives from concept through commercialization who knows how to establish working groups to execute. As a key member of the Product Experience leadership team, the Senior Director, Product Commercialization will provide strategic insights informing the product roadmap. This position requires a data-driven mindset, leveraging market and client insights to help inform overall product strategy and prioritization. The role involves close collaboration with product development and solutions management to prioritize investments based on commercial viability. This position leads a small team of product managers may require occasional travel to client sites and Visa locations Essential Functions: Collaborate closely with the product development team to ensure alignment on product features, timelines, and market requirements. Develop and execute comprehensive commercialization strategies for new products, including market entry plans, pricing strategies, and go-to-market initiatives. Lead cross-functional teams to drive product launch activities, including marketing, sales training, client support, pricing and post-launch support. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and differentiation strategies. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and identify opportunities for optimization. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful launch of products Help define and execute on the partnership strategy. Present findings and recommendations to business unit leadership. Influence key internal and external stakeholders to define and adopt appropriate metrics, goals and processes to achieve business objectives. Partner with leadership across Product, Engineering, Sales, Client Success teams to align on key decisions. Provide leadership and mentorship to the product commercialization team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and excellence. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by the HIring Manager. **The preferred location for this role will be Denver, Austin or Atlanta ** Basic Qualifications 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience Self-starter with a bias toward action and proven track record for successfully launching and commercializing technology products 10-15+ years of experience, including at least eight years of experience leading product management, project management and or management consulting Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results Ability to inspire direct reports, where applicable, and influence those without direct management responsibility Possess a high level of professionalism and leadership skills to build business relationships, trust and respect with business partners and suppliers Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation necessary. Active listening skills required Strong sense of urgency and experience driving to successful commercialization Strong collaboration and influence skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams to drive deliverables, projects and engagements to completion Take prompt, decisive action after analyzing relevant information Experience partnering with technologists using Agile or other expedited design and development methodologies preferred Visa and financial/payment industry knowledge is a plus, but not required Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 181,100 to 234,950 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
